Review:

From the award winning book in Spain, comes this wonderful app.  Rita the Lizard is more than just one of those typical adventure stories. It is also about friendship as Rita’s friends help  her to discover and accept her real self.  From the moment you open the app, you find colourful illustrations and engaging interactive pages and you find Rita at the beach, relaxing in the sun, we then get to meet William a Chameleon, then you go and meet all of her African animal friends, who then got together to help Rita to see who she really is.  A great feature is word highlighting, helping your child learn to read. One of the things I enjoyed most about this app is the counter for the interactivities on each page. For example, if you look at the screenshot below, the number 7 appears to note there are 7 animated things to do on that page. There are over 250 of them throughout this book! If you find them all, you can receive a special surprise.
