Description

For a strawberry Shortcake lover this is a must have app. It IS fun to play dress-ups, save your work and be able to send to your friends.
I feel as though the positives of the app are suited to an older child, yet the content of the app is for a younger child. For the adult who wants to sit beside their child whilst they play electronic dress ups…it would fit the bill.

Email option is too advanced for the age of the child that the app would appeal to, however being able to share the designs created with family and friends is a lovely idea.

I Reviewed this app from the perspective of my children who are 4 and 5, and loves dolls and dress ups, however I felt the app was suited to 8+ year olds.
My suggested improvements would be either make the app available at an upfront cost, or have a lot more stuff available for free. All too soon all the free dresses, hair styles, pets etc had been utilised and interest was lost.
Next suggestion…have in-app activities. The clock for example, how awesome if you could click on that and there be a Learn the time activity. Perhaps with different activities achieved it could then unlock a different dress/hair/friend.
My next suggestion with the app is when inserting a picture from your device, it inputs it anyway it wants – sometimes upside-down (I can’t see the logic behind it…it may just be me doing something wrong) and there is no option to manipulate the picture, ie change the orientation.

As I said, for a Strawberry Shortcake lover, they will love the sceneries and the dress ups and for the older kids who can send emails, they will like to share theirs masterpieces.
