When did you decide to develop this app?
I have a son with Autism and I wanted a way to help other parents and individuals with Autism. A percentage of each download will go to Autism charities once we recoup our investment.
When did you first release this app?
We went live in May 2012 with our first version on the App Store and then went to Android in July and Spanish version in Sept.
How long did it take you to develop this app?
The idea came quick, but the coding took about 5-6 months, I was low priority for the coder.
What is your favourite feature?
I love the train routes and that people can see progress through maps around the world.
What is your favourite page in the app?
When you finish a category, you get your passport stamped.
What skills were you hoping to help the end user to develop?
I wanted to help individuals with Autism get better at emotion recognition and the “Why” behind the emotion and get faster at it.
What age range would this app most suit?
4-20’s Even young adults with ASD have problem with emotion recognition and so I think this has a wide age range.
Are any new updates coming soon?
We want to add more train routes and more emotions in our next update.
